The Central Concert Hall "Astana"

The Central Concert Hall is a center for performing arts in Nur-Sultan. Symphony orchestra and traditional Kazakh music concerts are held here. The construction of the Congress Hall was completed in 1963 and after a major renovation in 1999, the building acquired a completely new look. The auditorium of the Congress Hall is designed for 1609 seats with balconies and an amphitheater. The media facade was installed on the building of the Congress Hall with an area of 603 square meters in the winter of 2015. This is used not only as a decoration, but also as a screen broadcasting a playbill, advertising and social videos. The media facade can be seen with the naked eye and people enjoy this view while walking along the old square.
